Ion Biome is a new generation, soil-derived supplement that promotes an optimal gut environment. It is not a probiotic. It is not a prebiotic. Rather, it is a carbon-rich, alkaline liquid, comprised of Terrahydrite™, a proprietary formulation of Aqueous Humic Substances and trace mineral amino acid complexes. Ion Biome has been shown in lab testing to increase and strengthen the tight junction proteins in the gut lining, our frontline of defense against environmental factors in our food, water, and even air, thereby impacting the immune system, as much of the body’s immune system is in the gut lining. Additionally, a stronger gut lining keeps undigested food and environmental elements, such as herbicides and antibiotics used in farming, from leaking out into the bloodstream from the intestines, so the immune system does not have to defend against these foreign “invaders,” which could also be as simple as undigested kale or broccoli. Restore helps protect your gut from threats such as stress, gluten, glyphostate, chemicals like herbicides and pesticides, and environmental impacts.
If you consider yourself “sensitive” or have gut or auto immune conditions: Results vary with initial Ion usage, with many customers reporting rapid and profound early results of the supplement. Does Ion cause detox?
The clinical spectrum of signs and symptoms that have been attributed to the word detox are vast. The term is poorly understood by doctors and patients, and it is often unclear if it is to be regarded as a good thing or something to be feared. If we consider the full term — detoxification — we can bring some clarity to the process. The need to remove toxins from the body is part of the body’s natural lines of defense, and a healthy body has vast mechanisms for toxin removal.
Many people starting Ion have noted almost immediate signs of toxin clearance from the body. Urine, sweat, breath, and skin, in the case of mineral foot baths, can all reveal toxin clearance. This is the result of the extremely rapid changes in the tight junction integrity as Ion promotes functional tight junctions in the gut, blood vessels, kidney tubules, etc. To be clear, Ion does not detoxify anything. The body’s natural systems, once back online with intelligent membranes, produce all the natural detoxification pathways.
If tight junction repair throughout the system is the reason for the mobilization of toxins and subsequent removal (detoxification) from the body, there is no redistribution of the toxin to other tissues. How Long to Take Restore
You should take Ion as long as you are getting exposure to those environmental factors known to impact the tight junctions in the gut, including gluten, glyphosate, and antibiotics. Healthy (especially organic and non-GMO) and gluten-free foods are great; avoiding exposure to glyphosate is the bigger challenge, as it has been shown to be contaminating even our rainwater. As with most supplements, you can expect to receive benefit as long as you are taking Ion, and for a residual period afterwards.

How is Restore different from a probiotic?
Optimally, a healthy digestive tract contains 20,000 – 30,000 different strains of good gut bacteria.

How is Ion different from probiotic products? How to Use
Consume 1 teaspoon (5ml) 3 times a day.

We recommend doubling usage weekly until a maintenance usage of 25 drops (1/4 teaspoon for under age 2) or 100 drops (1 teaspoon for over age 2) 3 times a day, before or with meals, is established.
