During his career working in the high-tech corporate world, Jeff Shardell had a revelation. HE learned that the deodorant he used daily was filled with harmful chemicals linked to cancer, Alzheimer's disease and other illnesses. Worse yet, he realized his body was likely absorbing those nasty chemicals. He knew something had to change.

He wanted to see if a truly natural deodorant that worked could exist. He also wanted to use as few ingredients as possible. Jeff stumbled onto the magic formula. One that included just 4 clean ingredients that would change the world of all-natural deodorants for good. Not only was it made from ingredients Jeff had in his own kitchen, it was a formula that was more effective at beating odors naturally than anything else out there.

These days, Jeff and his small team run Humble Brands out of their humble adobe schoolhouse in the heart of historic Taos, New Mexico. Everything is made in-house and handcrafted in small batches, from Humble’s best-selling natural deodorants to soon-to-be fan-favorites like body washes, lotions and lip balms — all created with the same less-is-more philosophy Jeff had long before he swapped city life for a more fulfilling (and natural) one in the desert.
