Hormones impact many body processes, including your body temperature, skin, hair, mood, menstrual cycle, and blood sugar. We designed Hormonious to support whole-body hormone balance. 

We include ashwagandha and holy basil, which may help you have better sleep [1] and a healthy response to stressful situations [2] [3]. Burdock root acts as an antioxidant [4] and supports hormonal health by benefiting the liver. Acerola cherry is high in vitamin C to aid healthy collagen production [5] and proper skin healing [6] if you’ve dealt with hormonal acne.

Take three capsules daily, with or without food. You can take three capsules all at once, or space them out throughout the day. Choose a time that works for you, and aim for consistency.

Our capsule-swallowing trick: Put 1 or 2 capsules in your mouth, drink some water, and then tilt your head forward before swallowing. The air in the capsules will help them float to the back of your throat and should make the capsules easier to swallow.

Organic Burdock (Arctium lappa) (Root): Burdock is a traditional plant that's been medicinally used for centuries throughout Europe, Asia, and North America. Burdock root is known as a liver cleanser and blood purifier because of its high antioxidant levels and ability to get rid of the free radicals that cause inflammation in the body. We use burdock in Hormonious to to help support your body's healthy response to inflammation and help your liver maintain an already healthy level of hormones.

Organic Cordyceps (Ophiocordyceps sinensis) (Mycelium): Cordyceps has been traditionally used throughout East and Southeast Asia to support vitality. Cordyceps may increase estrogen synthesis, subtly influencing your own body's hormonal balance. Cordecyps is also rich in phytoestrogenic compounds, plant-based molecules similar to the estrogen we have in our bodies. Cordyceps can also help support a beneficial hormonal balance through its antioxidant properties.

Organic Holy Basil (Ocimum tenuiflorum) (Leaf): Holy basil (tulsi) is a medicinal plant prized in Ayurveda for its beneficial impacts on physical stress, metabolic stress, detoxification, anxiety, and skin health. Tulsi has been studied for its potential to reduce the negative effects of stress. And, studies have suggested that it may help lower blood pressure and fasting blood glucose, which supports a healthy inflammation response and better hormonal balance.

Organic Acerola Extract (Malpighia glabra) (Fruit): Acerola cherry is a natural food source of vitamin C and antioxidants. Supplementation with vitamin C has been shown to be associated with higher progesterone, better fertility, and a decreased impact of cortisol on the body. That means your body will be better at handling stress and supporting its natural, healthy hormonal balance. They also include vitamin C to support your skin if you've struggled with hormonal acne: vitamin C is needed to form collagen and low levels of vitamin C may impair the skin from healing properly.

Vegan Capsule (Pullulan): Their plant-based capsules are made from pullulan, which is a plant-based polysaccharide derived from the Aureobasidium pullulans fungi. Pullulan is biodegradable and made without any other additives or fillers. Compared to animal-based capsules, pullulan resists oxygen very effectively, which means the contents are kept fresher for longer so you can enjoy all the benefits of Hormonious.
