Wooden Spoon Herbs
This lovely business grew out of the founder, Lauren's, herbal practice and curiosity about the incredibly rich, biodiverse region that is southern Appalachia. Born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee, she now lives in the mountains of northern Georgia, in a cabin in the woods.
Wooden Spoon Herbs is a small-batch herbal apothecary. Rather than tap into the booming global herb trade, where herbs are imported from myriad countries and travel countless miles, their products are thoughtfully made with American-grown herbs, sourced directly from the farmers that grow them.
They offer plant medicines in every approachable incarnation - tinctures, salves, creams, sprays, syrups - and strive to bring you high vibrations in every package.
The plants WSH herbs work with have been either lovingly picked by their own hands, sourced from small family-run medicinal herb farms or grown with the utmost care by local farmers and foragers in our bioregion.
Wooden Spoon Herbs aims to inspire and empower their community to take self-care into their own hands in a very real and connected way. Seasonal medicine, staying close to WSH roots, and utilizing the bounty of our bioregion is at the forefront of their creations.
