Margaret Crosby
Blush
Margaret draws her inspiration from a very specific place: at the crossroads of her background in herbalism, psychology and Eastern philosophy. She is perpetually interested in the lessons that Mother Nature teaches us about our own behaviors and our role in the web of interconnectedness of all beings. Through her art, she delves into the space where inner and outer landscapes meet— a place where the line between human and nature dissolves into a symbiotic relationship: where the elements spark a resonance from within.
ARTIST STATEMENT: Water represents the divine feminine in many cultures: aligning with emotions such as empathy, compassion and nurturing power. Humans are a mere reflection of the earth: our blood pumping through our veins as rivers weave through the landscape. The majority of my work aims to capture and deliver the messages water has for us so we can learn to live a more aligned life with ourselves, each other and the world around us.
